2012 has been a Sticky swirl so far with already two state border crossings and many more to come on the 2Qetuilaz Tour.

Radelaide turned the hospitality (and some neat looking party people), oon. On.

And thanks to the north of the bridge Crowie Hoey hotel last for welcoming us with open arms to your local as part of the SLAM movement - a very good cause in our opinion.

Our single Sydney show at the Jurassic Lounge (at the Australian Museum), last night went nuts as well. A stock of good people, yes I'm thinking of you, Anton, Marco and Nick and Stylish.

And all you Sydney siders if you get the telegraph you would have seen us being compared to the likes of Matt Corby , Lanie Lane and our good mates the Underlights and Rufus this week. And a good review with our Happy Endings EP showcasing 'bizarre fusion of reggae , psychedelia and surf folk'. Cheers Kathy, you're great.

Yo Yo,

Thanks to all you sexy Sydneysiders who came to our gig at the 'Dale on Friday. Was an epic night. A big thanks also to Flight and The Bungalows. (Check the above pic and try and try and find yourself).

Now ... the year is not over yet and neither are our shows. This Sunday come and check us out at the Newtown Festival where unlike last year , we're actually on the bill !

Also a mini trip down to the Gong on Thursday November 24th for Yours and Owls - we loved this joint last time we played there - and then the next night back to Sydney rocking the Beresford.

Hope to see you at one or all of these gigs as we count down the days till Summer.

We played to some pretty great crowds - espec in the Bazaar (the tues night cranked), did our own signing, and got a few fans happening.

Pat, beaks, neil and kane spent the day spraying new posters for the upcoming onslaught on the east coast and melbourne. will be headin up to newcastle on the 30th of september, then hitten up Port Maquarie on the 1st supporting BOB LOG. Then were finishing on the 2nd in Byron Bay at the great northern. Then headin down to melbourne on the 14th to play the Baha and then the Espy on the 15th. Further and further along we go.
With sweaty foreheads, tiny sweat beads rolling down our backs and clammy palms, we've been cranking the nights at Paddy's joint getting mixes done with Fray, for the Sticky record.
It's working well thank you.
He's a good fella and done a stack of good stuff - like the Bridezilla record. See.
Might even be able to dig up a pic of the occasion that doesn't incriminate the band.
We're busting out to play the beach Road on the 18th of this month and then hit the road in early Oct ... but I'll be back before then.

Murderous Nerves Clip + New T-shirts

the Murderous Nerves clip was shot by the band in Paddy's house. The Itching Ape scarred the walls with his image of the guys and we've got this as evidence (there are a couple of other shots up on the facebook page as well). It also features a guest appearance by James Dean and Kane (TFP) and a mad Diz's ladder dance, (plus a couple of Dizza and the ape dance moves but you have to be quick or you'll miss 'em), and ... some naked art.
This is the first Clip for the band and we're already working on getting a couple more up and running. Shouldn't be too long

bondi fm and bondi festival

Stoked! the Bondi Festival was a cracking gig, a big crowd, a couple of thousand people all up and a good few hundred for our gig - so it was a real good day. We were co-headline and hopefully we'll be able to get some pics up soon, there was a photog there and I'm trying to track 'em down.
We also went into Radio Bondi last tuesday and played 3 acoustic songs, (Juicy Ones and Freaking Out included), did an interview with the pple there and generally hustled. Did anyone record it? I'd like to hear it back.
Was all a bit of fun. Looking forward to the next time. And a shout to Adiv who dj's there as well.
For the next month or so we're writing a bit and putting together a new set while we wait to get back our mixes.

the Dizza b'day blow-out

Howdy,

It's been a big week :: lets call it the Dizza's bday blow out.
It was Dizza's bday on Monday and the band got amongst it.
Large.
In the end the gig that was the next day ... wasn't.
We also got some new band shots then - apologies to the guys on Tues, we're still trying to work out what happened.
Nick Huggins is doing the mixes for us and he sent thru the first of them as well. They're sounding real good, Juicy Ones espec is coming along great.

We're also heading into our last night of the friday residency at Oxford arts and we'll be filming so that we can begin to put together a couple of clips soon. more on that later.

Howdy, we're just back from megaphon and stu stu studios.
We've re-done Juicy Ones, Inspirational and Murderous Nerves and we're all stoked it's the best recording we've done - maybe that's because it's the first time we've been into a 'proper' studio to record our songs.
We're mailing em straight off to duder - Nick Huggins in Melbourne to mix them and see what he can come up with.
He's supposed to be real good, he's worked with Kid Sam and Whitley. And Sticky Fingers. we'll keep you posted when we get the songs back and put them up here.
